 My parents came down for a visit. While they were here, we took them to Valley of Fire for a little hiking. It was great weather and we had a great time. The real reason for our Halloween trip.Dan was sworn into the Utah State Bar. My mom and dad, Dan's sister, Shawna, and I were able to attend the swearing in ceremony.  We started the weekend with fireworks on Saturday. We went the the Moapa Paiute Indian Reservation for the show. We met up with some of the girls that I work with. It was a lot of fun.  Conference weekend we made a quick trip to Utah for Dan's mission reunion. He was able to see one of his companions and several missionaries he served with. We also saw Pres and Sis Smith. After they served three years in the Philippines Bacolod Mission they returned home for a year and were called on another mission to serve as the Mission President for the Missionary Receiving Center in Manila

Jackson is very busy. My parents just received their mission call to the Houston Texas, South Mission. They will be working in Family History Preservation. They leave April 5th. (That's in three weeks. Dan took me to see KA (A Cirque Du Soleil show on the Strip) the other night for my birthday. It was awesome! First, the stage not only moves up and down, but also moves vertical. They had rod that stuck out from the stage that they hung from, spun on, and moved around on. 5 months, 17 pounds, and lots of smiles. Here's what Jackson has been doing this month.Sleepovers with DadOk so here's the story. One night Jackson woke up in the middle of the night and would not go back to sleep. We tried everything. Finally Dan took him downstairs and put him in the swing. He didn't want to leave him so he make a bed and slept the rest of the night in the middle of the floor.

Our Christmas TreeWe had a great Christmas season. It all started with Christmas Eve at the Riggs'. We ate the "traditional" enchiladas. I love them. The spicier the better.
